Lewes Mosaic Project Map

We are helping to build a mosaic of habitats across the town, providing homes and food for wildlife. Have a look at the Lewes Mosaic Map to see what’s been happening. You can also add information about what you are doing to support wildlife in and around your home.

The results of our wildlife surveys on allotments in Lewes including birds, bats, wildflowers, amphibians and reptiles and flower visiting insects. Lewes Mosaic project is working with allotment holders to help create a Lewes wide mosaic of habitats for wildlife. We are running a series of wildlife monitoring and survey events at allotment sites in Lewes, find out more here. Our Summer Newsletter has seasonal tips on wildlife friendly food growing and details of our wildlife surveys in July and August.

The results of responses to our survey from 90 participants with allotments on 14 sites in and around Lewes can be viewed here. There is still time to complete the allotment survey here or scan the QR code to tell us more about your allotment site and what you may need to create wildlife habitats on your allotment.
